On a Journey of Magnificent Quest

Dog Poet Transmitting.......

My your noses always be cold and wet.

Greetings my friends and welcome to Visible Origami. It's funny about name recognition. It's actually the reverse of what it implies. You think about Origami, probably more so than Visible Origami, mostly because I often call it just that, but after enough times of seeing the word, Origami, we don't register the meaning along with the name. The word, Origami, is the label for a process of folding paper into different shapes. My intent in the naming this blog, Visible Origami, is to create a metaphor for word origami and to imply the shaping of ideas from the one, in an attempt to discuss the one by shaping The One into different expressions of itself. Before it is shaped, it is a flat piece of paper with only being but no personality. It is the essence of itself before expression. We can't define it but when we attempt to, that is Origami. The truth is itself and can't be defined as it is. We depart from it in the process of explaining it. I hope this was useful (grin).

Most people probably believe that I knew about Smoking Mirrors, the Mayan God before I named the blog. If I have indicated or implied that, I'm sorry. Sometimes I am forgetful about exactly how things come into being. I had wanted to name the blog, Smoke and Mirrors but that was taken. When The Judge, over at Slate, an Alaskan judge, brought it to my attention I was pretty amazed. The cosmos acts on my behalf a lot. I could list more surprising events than this blog posting can contain that have happened over the course of my time and they have really increased in recent years. It is indisputable that the ineffable has business with me. It is indisputable to me that the ineffable has business with you. However, some of you do not see it in operation as much, or identify the workings of it as a negative, because in the particular moment of its operation it appears like that. We have a great deal to do with the meaning of things, by the meaning we give them. Suspending our judgment altogether allows a more unfettered progress. One has to assume, or more importantly, become viscerally convinced that the ineffable is acting positively on our behalf, no matter what appearances may indicate. The ineffable is long term benevolent and if we incline in that direction, so it will incline on our behalf. As Lao Tzu states, “though Heaven prefers no man, the wise man prefers Heaven”.

We live in a world of Smoking Mirrors but we are empowered with a capacity for visible origami. It's what we make of what is in front of us that determines what eventually surrounds us and what we identify it as it becomes. Recognizing that we do not know and that we have surrounded ourselves with definitions that become our reality, puts us in a position to have our reality redefined, by the one who does know. The fact is that we do not know. We assume things based on appearances and appearances are a lie, a blind, a kind of negative origami that is hiding something in plain sight but which cannot be seen because it has been shaped into something else. This is how God becomes The Devil and once you recognize what is actually going on, there is no Devil. Even The Devil works for God, he prods us with his pitchfork. We are deceived by symbolisms because it is the nature of the mind to misinterpret them. If one were to say that the mind is The Devil, they would not be far wrong and that is the reason for the processes that have been offered up here in recent posts. Life can be effortless, if we recognize who the prime mover is and that the prime mover moves through us, unless we interpose ourselves in the way. Getting out of the way is Job One. Getting out of the way is the primary posture for receiving inspiration. Getting out of the way opens the door of intuition.

When one gets out of the way, what can happen is amazing and amazing can become routine. If our world is bland and dreary we are responsible. We can't improve and we can't change until we recognize that we are the prime opposer. We have a simple task, which is a non task. It is not doing as opposed to doing.

I heard several people say that it isn't fair and that it can't be true that free will is nothing more that the opportunity to cooperate or not, as I have indicated is what I believe. It appears that this means we have no real freedom. However, cooperation is freedom and the divine has a whole lot of surprises up his sleeve for those who show a willingness to cooperate in their own liberation, which attends self realization. What would self realization be? It is recognizing that you are divine; that the divine is you at your essential core. It is the resonant eternity within, that is shrouded by the illusion of mortality. No one has to die. Death is just a form of change. If you are in a state of continuous transformation you would not come up against death. Death is what happens when you have become trapped to the point that the prime mover has to free you for further progress. That's not all there is to it, obviously, but for the sake of the argument being presented here, it applies.

Lately I have received all kinds of commentary from people about what they can't do about one thing or another. Based on the way they are looking at it they are probably right; based on another way of looking at it they are probably wrong. There are all kinds of ways to get to the same place and although all of them may be workable, some of them are not workable for you. Some of them can well be worse then the present inconsistency. It is key to find the thing that works with the kind of person that you are. Though we are all unique snowflakes, we are also of a type. In astrology, each sign is divided into three decanates. That's three different basic personality types and something that reveals the ignorance of judging someone simply by their sun sign, not to mention the complexity of the houses and transits, natally and progressed. I mention this because most people have different kinds of measuring sticks by which they seek to interpret what is external to themselves. All of these measuring sticks are limited by the degree to which one does not understand the deeper intricacies of their use. Of course, one doesn't need a measuring stick when the divine is computing for you. The divine will take upon itself all of the tasks that you will surrender to it. People find this hard to accept for some reason and decide to shoulder all of it themselves; bad idea. You're carrying all kinds of crap in your knapsack and of course the years will weigh you down because you are measuring things in years, instead of realizing you have forever. That is one of the features of enlightenment; a comprehension of the eternal now.

I bang on about Israel at the other blogs and about all the cannibals and vampires who flourish in Kali Yuga but they don't really concern me. I just write about those things so that I can stick the spiritual stuff in. They've thrown me in prison a few times and tried to make it permanent. They've hassled me and shut me out of the playing field with my music and other endeavors but that has changed significantly over recent times and that is probably because I have changed significantly over recent times and that is because the divine is more and more the totality of my times.

It can seem a labor to talk to God initially. There is a resistance on the part of the mind that can't see it and is obsessed with what it can see, without recognizing the limitations of its bandwidth. The mind's major drawback is its restless nature, which is why it is compared to quicksilver. Stilling the mind is the key. Until you do that, progress is impossible, so it is a waste of time to attempt things that require the mind to be still. Every religion addresses this in different ways. Hanuman represents the mind as the best friend. Very few recognize how powerful and versatile the mind is, or utilize it anywhere near its capacity. There are basic things a person has to do first and we try to talk about those things here.

I can't do anything myself and the divine has been diligent about letting me know that. The divine has gone to great lengths to impress this on me and the result has been that I rely on the divine for everything I can remember to release into its care. If I am successful at what I do it is because of this and this is not restricted to me. Anyone can do it who does it. It is simple but the implications are deep and profound. There is a disconnect in the human mind, which will understand these things but fail to employ them relentlessly and immediately What are they waiting for? That is the question of the moment and the moment awaits.

We are on a journey. We are not employees at a job until we die. We are not citizens of a country. We are not those things that we use to identify our place in the mix. We are eternal travelers on a magnificent quest. We are not mere cogs and ciphers. We are the spirit of the divine on a journey of self discovery. Whether we see that or not does not affect whether it is so. Sooner or later we discover this and it alters our priorities and our values in powerful way and gives meaning to all of our endeavors where before they appeared as drudgery.

The state and conditions of the world are one thing. What we are is another and what we are has everything to do with whatever relationship we have with these states and conditions. The world is not supposed to overpower us and it gets its power to do so from us, in respect of where we find ourselves... when we are not finding ourselves but chasing after pointless amusements or useless things. When we have our priorities together we suddenly find that we have all the time in the world for just about anything. Conversely we have no time for anything. I've said all I have to say for the moment. I hope it is of some use somewhere.

Very excellent Les,

You are the voice of calm and reason in an ever more crazy world. It is so easy to be distracted by the crazy shit going on and you are always there to bring us back to the only thing that is important.

Thanks very much and have a great day.

Concerning a comment directed to me some days ago about there being no radiation in the flotsam and jetsam from Fukushima there is this from Poor Richard's blog quoting officials-

"Large items still in the water should be reported to the Coast Guard, as they may represent a hazard to boats and ships, he said.

Some shipping lanes have already been rerouted to avoid the worst of the debris, he said.

People should also be aware of the possibility of radiation contamination, he said.

The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant leaked a large amount of radiation into the water in the wake of the tsunami, and no one knows what levels of contamination there are in the currents, and the items being carried in those currents, he said.

Ebbesmeyer suggested local police take steps to have sensitive Geiger counters available to scan items — just to be safe.

The event was unprecedented, and no one knows yet what levels of radiation, if any, items have picked up, he said."

Wise wise words- so many and there's plenty between the lines too for the strongest message.
Sometimes I allow myself to focus on a minuscule, an irritant, taking my present off of the present, I indeed must do better, for I know how much better and easier life is when we focus, meditate, and involve our Creator in all we do. Why then do I continue- Not? there's a lesson in it for me - if only I could stop personalising and rise above enough whilst still being grounded.

Thanks for this Les; it explains a lot of the stuff that’s been on my mind recently. I keep wishing I was farther along the path, but I am probably just where I should be according to the effort I put in. I am still in the habit of talking to God like he was catholic. (grin) maybe that’s not so funny, seeing as he is “universal” but you know what I mean. Meanwhile, the oil heating has broken down and the parts needed to fix it are nowhere to be found but you know what, it doesn’t matter. People around me are zooming in and zooming out, busy, busy ,busy with Christmas and all that stuff but that doesn’t matter either. The world is on the verge of something resembling World War 3 and my wife got me to watch a program called ‘my big fat gypsy Christmas’ and I can’t figure out which is worse, I mean the prospect of war or the big fat gypsy Christmas but none of it really matters. There is something in the air that smells of God. I can feel him/it/her.......peace to all men of good will in this season of Christ.

Ps, I suppose that means I’m going to get a hammering from somewhere now just to put me back in my box. A well, I will just have to “endeavour to persevere.”

There is a book by Alice Bailey called "From Intellect to Intuition" that this post reminds me of. To render the mind in a state of obeisance to the soul is the goal it would seem. The mind is the most difficult of obstacles to overcome. I am seeking to know the totality of consciousness and the mind is a duality machine and it is relentless. I think the point of many spiritual exercises, reading, contemplation, mantra, etc. is to get the mind out of the way or at least to acclimate the mind to not predominating. The mind is a servant of the totality that has become our master. I have heard that all karma originates at the mind level and that the soul has no karma. In one lifetime we are making karma that could take 100's of lifetimes to work off, meaning that each life progresses at an arithmatic rate while karma seems to grow logarithmically. It seems it is all a trap. Grace is the only way out of this prison, and is quite the mystery. I believe the story of Jesus is about the power of the guru or avatar to extend us grace and burn away our karma (die for our "sins.")First we seek, then we are found. It is a non-linear thing, grace, and bypasses all mentation, or so it seems to my limited mind.
As folks awaken, one of the first things they see is the reality of "the church as temporal power construct." Go deeper and you will see the even more insidious nature of organized religion and that it literally keeps its adherents locked on the karmic wheel for millenia with its notions of the ultimate reality being a fairyland heaven where one goes fishing for a couple of thousand years in a high astral region and never seeks any higher reality, thereby locking the poor souls into duality in futuro. I want out of all duality. I want the totality. I'm not going to settle until I get it. Rock on brother Visible !

The option to co-operate or not only seems unfair when you identify with the illusion and fall into the trap of believing that you are an individual. There is only One state of Being who is in a continual state of self-contemplation and as strange as it might sound some parts of the One Being become identified in particular train of thought/experience and identifies with it. Good job Les, your posting are becoming more and more insightful (not that they never were to begin with)

The concepts you have put shape to recently, by folding the two dimensional paper and giving it form, are/is something I've been seeking for 60+ years. Have come to think of being given such a gift by the Divine as transcendence. I know I don't know, but hope my path is headed in that direction. Thanks, Rob

Once again the essence of how and why Visible Origami most certainly leads the way.

Very inspiring and I'm not easily inspired.

Certainly not by displays of material phantasmagoria disguised as spirituality.

Thought--the mind-- alters the shape of essence.

Does this rendering of form and dimension thus also alter the how essence is perceived? Or is perception a constant, of sorts-- is perception itself essence?

Yes.

I have not commented in a few years, as I have not had anything to say, but I have continued to be a reader and have appreciated the increasingly frank metaphysical nature of the blogs. Recently I was able to confirm and deepen my own awareness of my metaphysical nature with the help of a hypnotherapist.

I both agree and disagree with your optimism

I do not agree that worldly matters will unfold in a way that will be pleasing to your readers, neither soon nor ever. Earth is the realm of the profane.

I do agree that our spiritual selves have nothing to fear, and can look forward to endless revelations of love, truth, and beauty when we have taken leave of this ravaged little planet. Thank you for spreading that message, and doing it so well. Blessings.

Regarding the flotsam and jetsam from the Japanese Tsunami: Of course the debris represents a shipping hazard, and it may also represent a hazard to surfers and bathers when it arrives along beaches. But that is a physical hazard -- not a radiation hazard.

The March 2011 Tsunami hit a wide stretch of the Japanese east coast, pulling all kinds of debris out to sea. The Fukushima Nuclear Plants were only a miniscule fraction of the area devastated by the Tsunami. The cores of the Fukushima Nuclear Plants, we were told, were not breached by the Tsunami, but their back-up diesel generators were disabled, which led to the failure of the Nuclear Plants. The regional power system that normally provided energy to operate the cooling systems at the Fukushima Nuclear Plants had also been disabled by the Tsunami.

The Tsunami had come and gone before the Nuclear Plants overheated and exploded. The debris from the Tsunami was already well out to sea before the Fukushima Nuclear Plants overheated and exploded. Of course, the explosions at the Nuclear Plants would have sent some debris into the ocean, but compared to the vast floating debris field caused by the Tsunami, the Nuclear Plant debris would be quite small in volume, and mostly composed of concrete and metals -- which don't float.

The ruptured Fukushima Nuclear Plants have released a lot of radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean which resulted in radioactive readings in various marine species in Japanese waters, and as a result, government-mandated restrictions have been placed on the fishing industry there. Eventually the radiation-contaminated water from Fukushima will diffuse throughout the Pacific Ocean, and as it diffuses, the radiation it contains will become more dilute. Beaches on the west coast of North America should recieve less water-borne radiation than Japan, and beaches on the west coast of South America should recieve less than the North American beaches.

The airborne radiation coming from Fukushima poses a far greater threat to Americans or anyone downwind of Japan than the waters of the Pacific Ocean or the Tsunami debris. An airborne soup of radioactive elements can be carried by the Trade Winds to North America in as little as seven days. For North Americans, breathing the air coming from Fukushima should be a serious concern. By comparison, wading or surfing in the Pacific Ocean is a very negligible threat. The Tsunami debris should not be any more radioactive than the Pacific Ocean itself.

I doubt very much if Geiger-counters will detect radiation above background levels from the flotsam and jetsam that washes up on the Pacific coast of North America. If I were beachcombing on the Pacific coast, I would not be particularly worried about handling the flotsam and jetsam coming from the Japanese Tsunami. I would be much more worried about breathing the air coming to the USA from Fukushima.

Which is not to say that a fraction of the Tsunami debris will not include chemical, biological, or even radioactive hazards (such as medical and industrial materials). I just do not think that the vast majority of the Tsunami debris will be any more radioactive than the ocean itself.

I am not an expert per se, and I am not quoting experts on this. I'm just applying common sense and logic to the situation. - GF

Someone commented quite a while back that they were disheartened at the idea that there doesn't seem to be any real choice as regards the will of God vis a vis ourselves.

The thing is this. There isn't anything but God. There was never any other possibility. It is built into the nature of existence itself, which is the fundament of reality, which is that, instead of nonexistence, we have Existence, which is God. God is Source. Can there be anything not sourced in God? No, there cannot.

So we have duality, which runs the show, and yet, somehow, behind that is unity. It is a great puzzle to the mind. We require duality, dual opposites cannot meet, and yet it is an appearance or a stepdown from the deeper reality which is unity.

As the Tao says, from one we get two, from two we get three, and from three we get this dazzling array of ten thousand things.

But it is really all One. And yet, we have our precious selves, our individual selves, and we are given freedom. The purpose of freedom is that we may love freely, the only kind worth having, and that we may become real, and wise.

In what then, can our freedom consist? First of all, we are free to not see God, so that we may be independent, and do as we please and learn a million lessons and have an individual journey to wisdom.

But the problem is, there is only one answer, and only one destination, and only one Good, and only one perfection, and that is God. We are ever free to not align with God, but not aligning with God is not aligning with reality, and eventually that gets tiresome.

Sure, we are free to design our own story and be its epic hero, to take our own length of time and learn our own ten thousand lessons, and there is a great spectrum of relative amounts of cooperation or noncooperation with God of which we all freely may choose.

But in the end, it's still a binary, this cooperation and noncooperation; all dualities are an appearance and there is only one sane choice.

It's not because God is a bully! It's because God is Reality and there can be no other.

Well Gregory, if you notice, that was a quote, not my words. This is bring reported by Seattle oceanographers Curtis Ebbesmeyer and Jim Ingraham

"The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant leaked a large amount of radiation into the water in the wake of the tsunami, and no one knows what levels of contamination there are in the currents, and the items being carried in those currents, he said.

Ebbesmeyer suggested local police take steps to have sensitive Geiger counters available to scan items — just to be safe.

What that means is that they don't know and you don't know.

P.S. Fukushima. Here in Portland, Oregon, since the Trade Winds bring us the air from Japan within about a week, many of us have been very concerned about breathing the air from Fukushima. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we are the first, along with southern Alaska, to get the winds from Japan -- unless the wind trends southward through Hawaii. Radioactive fallout precipitates out when it rains, so here in the Pacific Northwest, we will not only get it first, we are also likely to get it the worst.

Many of us in Portland stayed indoors as much as possible for a couple of months following the Fukushima explosions. Staying indoors is very hard to sustain, so we are all out and about again. After a nuclear disaster such as a meltdown, radiation release, or nuclear war, it's the radioactive fallout in the air that will make life impossible for downwinders like us. Just like On the Beach. It wasn't the ocean that killed them -- it was the air.

If you live on the west coast of North America or in Hawaii and you're worried about the Pacific Ocean water coming from Fukushima, then you should be much, much more worried about the air you're breathing that comes from Fukushima, which is far more likely to harm you first, and also to harm you worse. Radioactive air is far more dangerous than radioactive water or debris, because you ingest radioactive particles when you breathe the air, while your exposure to radioactive water and debris is external.

If I were walking on a beach with a friend here in the Northwest, and my friend told me not to touch something we found on the beach because it may have come from Fukushima, I would say "Get real -- we've been breathing the air from Fukushima for many months, and touching some well-washed debris from Japan is nowhere near as bad as that." - GF

I read somewhere that the tsunami wasn't the primary factor in the initial breaching of the reactor.

It was the earthquake which actually breached the reactor.

After the earthquake occurred, the tsunami then basically spread the radiation everywhere (debris, water, air, land).

I know this is a simplified and perhaps not very scientific suggestion but this series of events might suggest radioactive debris could very likely result.

After all, it is news, big news when the media actually tells the truth, even if by accident.

For the second time, I am not afraid of this and am not claiming this, I report what I hear from sources more informed than me (or you) and what they say as food for thought.

I serve one main purpose here and that is to get people to think. Everyone here has read a lot of books and tried a lot of things but many people are still where they are at and that is because people don't address the core issues on which everything else depends.

I hope to paint a more optimistic picture and people regularly tell me I'm wrong, as someone did today. It is what I am told. I don't want to argue about radioactivity because I don't know anything, I just know what people say.

I try not to have an imperious nature or present arrogant elevation, which would tend to alienate people. I have no reason to be imperious or arrogant, no just cause, no excessive merit... as if any of that would somehow apply and as if imperious and arrogant were ever desirable.

I had many opportunities for success in my life and I either rejected them or left town. I was real good at leaving town and also real good at coming back again. I did this because I knew instinctively that I would screw it up. I wasn't ready. I wasn't the sort of person yet who could wear it as a duty and place no personal significance on it.

I did not want to wind up like all the people I had no respect for. We all think we can handle it but we don't have a clear idea of what we will encounter. If one doesn't have the qualities of God, then their shortcomings will dominate and decide the outcome, just as they already do, either way.

Though it may not appear relevant, I've usually got a good reason for the things I say here.

Visible: I never said that the oceanographer's quotes were your words.

Indeed, we don't know how bad the radiation that leaked into the ocean is, and it's the oceanographers' job to try to find out.

Homer wrote: "I read somewhere that the tsunami wasn't the primary factor in the initial breaching of the reactor.
It was the earthquake which actually breached the reactor." Okay, but that's not the official version of what happened.

On the risk scale, I think breathing the air from Fukushima is a greater threat than the potential of radiation in the Pacific Ocean water or the Tsunami debris. As long as Fukushima continues to simmer, breathing the air on a Pacific beach in North America is a lot riskier than wading in the ocean at that same beach.

11. I went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day, but

I couldn't find any.

12. A man woke up in a hospital after a serious accident.

He shouted, "Doctor, doctor, I can't feel my legs!" The doctor

replied, "I know, I amputated your arms!"

13. I went to a seafood disco last week, and pulled a mussel.

14. What do you call a fish with no eyes? A fsh.

15. Two fish swim into a concrete wall. The one turns to the

other and says, "Dam!"

16. Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a

fire in the craft. Not surprisingly it sank, proving once again that

you can't have your kayak and heat it too.

17. A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel, and

were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament

victories.

After about an hour, the manager came out of the office,

and asked them to disperse.
"But why," they asked, as they moved off.
"Because," he said. "I can't stand chess-nuts boasting

in an open foyer."

18. A woman has twins, and gives them up for adoption. One

of them goes to a family in Egypt, and is named 'Ahmal.' The

other goes to a family in Spain; they name him 'Juan.' Years later,

Juan sends a picture of himself to his birth mother. Upon

receiving the picture, she tells her husband that she wishes she

also had a picture of Ahmal. Her husband responds, "They're twins!

If you've seen Juan, you've seen Ahmal."

:
19. Mahatma Gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of

the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet.

He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and with his

odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him (oh, man,

this is so bad, it's good), a super-calloused fragile mystic hexed

by halitosis.

20. A dwarf, who was a mystic, escaped from jail. The call

went out that there was a small medium at large.

21. And finally, there was the person who sent twenty different

puns to his friends, with the hope that at least ten of the puns

would make them laugh. No pun in ten did.

We are all sheets of blank paper, awaiting our new state of being as Black Hole Origami. Look Mommy, I'm a Kentucky Fried Turducken, swimming through the gaseous jets of the dark rift...Speaking of radioactive tsunami origami, the Coast Guard should make themselves useful and collect all the floating shoes they can for the FEMA inmates. I think pink radioactive Crocs (made in China) would be a lovely choice for the official footwear of FEMA, but that budget needs to be trimmed somewhere. Maybe a black hole could take care of that too.

Sorry for belaboring the point about the ocean versus airborne radiation. Here in the PNW the airborne fallout is a very serious concern for many of us. After Fukushima, the US government and a lot of people who should know better appeared unconcerned with the fact that we are downwind of the radiation. Recently I've seen a lot of news articles hyping the threat of the Tsunami debris, which seems to me like too much attention applied to a less serious topic, after the media has way underplayed the risk from the airborne fallout. I'll try to look at the bright side of that emphasis -- maybe people will get more concerned about tainted seafood than about rising leukemia rates. At least they're getting concerned about something.

Yesterday, a comet approached the Sun. Called a "sungrazer," it plunged into the corona of our primary star, and came out the other side relatively unscathed. Most comets don't survive the near brush with the Sun.

The comet's name? Lovejoy, named after its discoverer, an amateur astronomer.

We depend on the Sun for a great many things. Let Love and Joy be among them!

I'm going to ask you nicely to stop stalking me.

I have already informed you that I check the name on the comments and do not read yours, so you are basically writing to no one. Your cruel, offensive and misinformed commentary has no impact on me beyond annoyance and there has never been one thing that you have said that I've considered because what you are has been revealed to me for a long time now. I have tolerated you through a lot of bad acts on your part and finally had to permanently ban you and remove your ability to post on Facebook as well.

I am publicly letting you know that this can play out back to you in a very creative way that you won't like at all. I don't like to resort to this sort of thing but you are insisting on it. I suggest you assess my tone and the implications of how serious I am and make yourself aware of the wide network of people with whom I am engaged and how informed about certain technologies they are and what's possible.

When my brothers and I used to misbehave, my uncle Bill used to say, "those who cannot hear must feel". You will receive in kind and in the manner that you are acting if you don't suspend your unfortunate behavior. I'm not a vengeful person but I can take care of myself if someone wants to act like a bully. You have no good intentions so please step back or suffer the consequences. You are in control of this so it is your decision and your call. Much is known about you and all this can be made known too. Think about it.

Radiation - well - I was once married to this man (still cannot call him MY ex-anything). But through the years I think he must have developed some (grin) and we now are guarded friends. He is the real thing, that rare thing that is called a nuclear scientist and is some high mucky muck in some high falutin' organization responsible for the safety procedures of some nuclear power stations in some countries and the containment processes when "accidents" occur.

We had a conversation - I asked him: "So, you're going to Japan?". He said .. very guardedly: "I was asked to volunteer". I said: "You gonna?" He said, in a clipped tone: "I declined the opportunity."

And a silence ensued.

His next sentence: "You guys still eat mostly fish eh?" "Yes", I said. "Uhmmm", he said. "I am sure like always you will check your sources." "Right On!" I said.

His next sentence: "You guys still do a lot of sailing?" "Not much lately." I said. "But you're still into monitoring earth conditions and winds and ocean currents?" "Yes" I said, "If needs be".

"Good thing." He said. "Don't collect any shells!"

Ron Paul…the pied piper of half-cocked idiots with ZERO knowledge of true history.

Maybe if Ron Paul said something like THIS h would be worth half a thought…

“The advent of the industrial revolution, the invention of a banking system based on usury, and scientific and technological advancements during the past three centuries have had three major consequences. These have made the incredible concentration of wealth in a few hands possible, have led to the construction of increasingly deadly weapons culminating in weapons of mass destruction, and have made it possible to mould the minds of vast populations by application of scientific techniques through the media and control of the educational system.

The wealthiest families on planet earth call the shots in every major upheaval that they cause. Their sphere of activity extends over the entire globe, and even beyond, their ambition and greed for wealth and power knows no bounds, and for them, most of mankind is garbage “human garbage.” It is also their target to depopulate the globe and maintain a much lower population compared to what we have now.”

Banking is a joyous occupation. Please take this quiz together with your friends and family to test yourselves to see if you understand just how much joy bankers spread around the world.

1) Which of the following are examples of the absolute joy of being a banker?

A) In June of 2010 the US deficit was 68 billion dollars but the bankers sold 211 billion dollars in Treasury bonds and pocketed the 143 billion dollar difference.

B) Bankers have special access to all federal government computers and are allowed to steal up to 4 billion dollars a week which the politicians and the voters are not allowed to audit.

C) Because the schools are not allowed to teach the difference between an interest bearing currency and a debt free money bankers are paid 500 billion dollars a year in interest. That is 500 billion dollars a year because your money says Federal Reserve Note and not Treasury Note.

D) All of the above

I'm taking a chance on doing some things in my life. Whether this is the season of good cheer or not, I am trying to do what is right. Namely, that is forgiving those who have wronged me. I am not a saint and quite far from it.
I am considered a lowly person where I am living and am continually the object of ridicule, mockery, and disrespect. In previous comments, I made mention of a most atrocious and evil man that I called, " Mr. Spirit". I despise this man and just discovered that he taking advantage of a mentally unstable and weak woman who has signed over all of her property to him.

Indeed, he is a horrible and treacherous person. I said to my very good friend, Joe, that even as bad and lowly as he is, we are obligated and commanded to forgive him. Of course, I am paraphrasing Christ. That means I have to forgive my enemies that abuse where I am at.

I am just tired of carrying the weight of all that resentment and hate inside of me. This may or may not have anything to do with Visible Origami, but I wanted to share this with my friends here on this blog.

Merry Christmas.

Love the post cousin Les. Nut just wanted to add my four cents.
Every Meso American Culture understood that the "Gods" are reflections of man's divine qualities as well as simultaneously representing the divine's human aspects. The Sacred Male-Female creator duality Ometeotl, and even the philosophy of duality itself reflects the left and right hemisphere's of the human brain, or mind. The Smoking Mirror is our own subconscious whose suppressed wants, needs, and desires distort our perception. The human nervous system running along the sinal column is a serpent whose synaptic fibers strectch out like feathers and whose radiant jewels are the glands of the human endocrine system - or the chakras as the Yogis prefered to call them.

The human sacrifice and sacrilidge invented with Tlacaelel was similar to the rise of israel under moses in which the ceremonial violence of a self-chosen people became the means of blackest magic. Before that human sacrifice was mimited to king's playing the ball game, as it should be. When two cities go to war, only the interested parties should put their lives at stake.

"Death is just a form of change. If you are in a state of continuous transformation you would not come up against death."

A Balinese shaman expresses much the same to Perkins, in his book Shapeshifting, in case anyone wishes to chase down the thought to a further extent-it's an interesting thought, and it was an interesting book.

Incidentally, I'm not suggesting any plagiarism on Les' part. Spiritual insights are available to all when the requisite level of understanding for that particular insight has been reached, so it's a case of men drawing water from the same source(Les & the shaman speaking with Perkins).

You usually set down at least a half dozen rabbits in every post, Les, any one of which is profitable to chase.

Smyrna said “I grasped that when I was 'out of my mind'.”

That sums up our insanity today in humanity…. Those in the mind will never comprehend the true nature of the mind, and have to either through circumstance, loose their minds or through mastery mystery training choose to leave their minds. As most modern entities self indentify as their minds, they rarely entertain the latter. Alas all hope is lost and why collectively we are choosing to bring this cycle to its end, of course with the drama of an apocalypse, so to wring as much wisdom for the next cycle.

I would add, with the crown jewels being the pituitary and pineal glands. The serpent is the key…. hence Masters left us with the Caduceus symbol. The entwining snakes around the shaft are the body mechanisms to hydraulically push up the spinal fluids and secrete these glands.

I haven't commented here in ages , but I read when I can . Les seems to write faster than I can read , but I saw earlier this observation was made by another commenter , at "Smoking Mirrors " .

Another commenter said that Les seems to have a canny knack of writing down the thoughts he had the day previous..

So , more "synchronicity " .

Yesterday I was trying , in my head , to think of a great opening line or even paragraph for a novel . I failed .

Today , I read this : "I had many opportunities for success in my life and I either rejected them or left town.

If one doesn't have the qualities of God, then their shortcomings will dominate and decide the outcome, just as they already do, either way."

Go on Les ! Brilliant !
